Little off the busy road but in a quiet place. The priest, the admin staff, will answer your query very patiently. I went there on Sunday evening and there was no rush. I was privileged to do the darshan and aarti with my family and friends.If you wish to perform any kind of puja/homam, ask a month in advance. Otherwise, the dates get booked pretty fast.Thanks. After 10 years of moving into Ottawa, I finally got a chance to visit Ottawa Sivan Temple. I called Ottawa Sivan Temple right after the other temple in Ottawa was closed earlier than anticipated. It was so nice for one of the trustees to call me back after I called several times and I left voicemails. One of the trustees was so welcoming and friendly. When I went inside the temple, it felt so peaceful. Yes, it was spiritual. Lot of idols of gods and goddesses. They had a shelf dedicated to plastic bags for devotees to carry temple items and food, which is nice. The pooja today was wonderful! Visiting places like Ottawa Sivan Temple in this Canada Day made me thankful for the diversity and freedom we have in Canada. Loved spending every moment in the temple. The priest was friendly as well. He performed a great pooja for me. Next time I visit the temple, I will spend my time outdoors near the temple and enjoy the open field filled with fresh air and people (take my time). I will definitely visit the temple again with family and friends. Hopefully, there will be more food items for devotees next time. I connected with myself better after visiting the temple alone. It was so calm there as well.

About 40 mins drive from Ottawa downtown, in Manotic. Always welcoming and a lot of Indian feel here.

Always get a feeling of visiting temples back home on my every visit here. Feels blissful.

As soon as you enter the temple you will definitely feel there is a strong peaceful presence here. The pundits performed the puja with utmost sincerity and didn't try to run fast! The idol of the God & Goddess feels so powerful. Must visit .

Great vibes. Felt like I went to south india. Perfectly maintained. Car parking is also there. Visited during Sivarathri, Huge crowd!!. First time seeing lot of indians in one place. Must visit if you are into temples.
